It got me excited when Alex, wedding planner of Alexandra Rose Weddings, got in touch about having her branding session in Oxfordshire. I’ve worked with Alex several times previously and I always have fun having her around. She has a calm presence, which is exactly what you need at any wedding.
We searched for a private location with enough space to set up a table she can style. Luckily, Dandridge’s Mill had just the space we needed. Dandridge’s Mill was originally built as a Silk Mill but is now a spacious light and airy luxury accommodation after its restoration.
Alex has a background in fine art and textiles which as a wedding planner, helps her in crafting incredible weddings for each of her couples in Oxfordshire and beyond. She takes great care in choosing the elements that create the ambiance needed for a perfect wedding celebration. From the linen tablecloths to the Tiffany chairs, the silk ribbons, brass cutleries, and down to the handmade paper stationery. She uses details sourced meticulously from different areas of the UK to add that European charm to any wedding. Each piece is carefully curated to help create the final look and wow any discerning couple.
What makes Alex unique though is how multi-talented she is. She works both as a wedding planner and a florist in Oxfordshire and around the UK. While most wedding florists are self-taught, Alex had formal bridal floral couture training in the UK Floristry in Liverpool. She also underwent Contemporary Floral Design training in Oxfordshire. Undeniably, both floristry training helped a lot with the wedding floristry side of her business and enable her to fully deliver the best to her clients.
Having Alex as your wedding planner (in Oxfordshire or anywhere else) will make you relieved to have fewer things to worry about.
