If you’ve never seen a luxury patisserie table then you’re in for a treat! I remember feeling ecstatic when Fen of MonAnnieCakes got in touch with me. She asked whether I was keen to do her branding shoot for The Patisseria at the luxurious Belmond Le Manoir. Of course, I said yes right away! I mentioned The Patisseria briefly in my previous post about wedding trend predictions that are here to stay. However, if you want to find out more and satisfy your sweet tooth then read on.

A collaboration of artisans
When artisans collaborate, a masterpiece is created. The Patisseria at Belmond Le Manoir is a feast for the senses. is the brainchild of two wonderful ladies, Fen and Alex. I can see how their expertise blended together so beautifully in this new venture. Fen enjoys using simple ingredients to create a selection of mouth-watering confections and wedding cakes. I’ve tried both her sweet and savoury treats and they were all scrumptious! Alex of Alexandra Rose Weddings is a luxury wedding planner and stylist based in Oxfordshire. Alex uses her background in fine art in creating the most breathtaking designs. This really shows in the way she produces beautifully styled work. She also received formal bridal floral couture training and this shows in the stunning floral arrangements she creates. She definitely knows what she’s doing.

The Patisseria experience at Belmond Le Manoir
Whether you’re keen on sweets or savoury treats, this is an experience you’ll absolutely love. The Patisseria is not just a curated selection of treats but an artistic collaboration that can elevate any celebration. Alex and Fen’s combined passion really shows in every piece they included within this scrumptious selection. Here’s what Fen had to say about it. “With the Patisseria, what we want to do is take you on a journey using all your senses. (We want to) greet your eyes with refined elegance, your olfactory sense with new aromas and your tastebuds with a delectable mix of sweet and savoury.” The Patisseria at Belmond Le Manoir is a feast for the senses.

The branding shoot at Belmond Le Manoir
I shot the images for The Patisseria’s branding shoot at the luxurious Belmond Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons. Have you heard of renowned chef Raymond Blanc OBE? He created this manor house hotel which has proudly boasted two Michelin stars since it opened in 1984. Belmond Le Manoir is not only one of Oxford’s most sought-after wedding venues but also one of the most lavish small party venues in South England. It was an appropriate location for capturing the beauty of Alex and Fen’s new venture.

We stayed mostly at the hotel’s modern conservatory during our Belmond Le Manoir shoot. The natural light that comes through the glass ceiling of the conservatory was just perfect. Facing the conservatory is a small and charming garden where Alex styled a table of selected pastries labelled with beautiful calligraphy by Jacqui of White Olive Design Studio. Here are the rest of the photos from this Belmond Le Manoir shoot. Enjoy!
