I’m delighted to have had the wonderful opportunity of capturing Sudeley Castle’s newly launched Orangery. From the moment Jen of Jennifer Louise Weddings asked me to collaborate and shared her brief, I was over the moon. She wanted to style the orangery by bringing the outside in and creating an indoor garden filled with pastel summery tones. It sounded like a dream. And I’m sure you’ll agree, it looked like one too!

THE COLOUR PALETTE
If you’re looking for some delightful spring or summer wedding inspiration, you’re in the right place. Jen worked with soft pastel hues evoking romance, innocence, affection, tranquility, growth and renewal when styling Sudeley Castle’s new orangery. We went for lush olive green, pale apricot, peach and off-white with pops of pink and lilac throughout the design.
SUDELEY CASTLE ORANGERY FLORAL DESIGN
Clare of Clementine Moon thoughtfully arranged lush green foliage throughout Sudeley Castle’s new orangery. She created an intricate hanging installation to give the space its wow factor. Clare draped more foliage around the orangery beams making the space feel light and inviting.
I’m more of a flower lover and not usually a fan of foliage but seeing Clare’s design changed my mind. She made Sudeley Castle’s new orangery look so exquisite and created a cosy ambiance with the way she styled everything.

TABLE DESIGN
We had two long tables draped with heavyweight neutral toned tablecloths. Clare filled the long tables with seasonal blousy florals and treated us to the wonderful smell of roses, lilacs, ranunculus and sweet peas. She lined posy and bud vases along the centre of each table, creating a variety of different fragrance colours and textures. For the tableware, the Luxe Collection’s Green Rose dinnerware complemented the soft aesthetic and the Sudeley Castle Orangery’s summery brief. And finally, Hannah of Knock Knock Penny Studio created elegant menu and place cards which Jen styled with velvet pink bows to align with the overall design. And finally, let’s not forget how the pastel Ester & Erik tapered candles finished the look and gave the orangery that extra romantic feel.
